As we become more focused on the need for privacy (see Section 79.2), which will be increasingly an issue for society, more people will gravitate to privacy preserving platforms. The /e/ Foundation is developing an Android distribution which is disentangled from Google. No longer will your data be sent to Google from your Google-based device every 5 or so minutes (and similarly iOS sata to Apple).
The /e/ Foundation’s Android is based on the open source LineageOS version of Android which itself is a fork of CyanogenMod, all based on the foundation of the Android Open Source Software (itself basically being a fork of GNU/Linux).
Your donation will support ongoing availability and give you access to the PDF version of this book. Desktop Survival Guides include Data Science, GNU/Linux, and MLHub. Books available on Amazon include Data Mining with Rattle and Essentials of Data Science. Popular open source software includes rattle, wajig, and mlhub.
