Firmware Upgrades 20241227 Upgrade the Dell dock firmware from 01.00.36.01 to 01.00.44.0 nd various dock components (RTS5413 01.22 to 01.23, RTS5487 01.57 to 01.59, VMM5331 05.07.04 to 05.07.07, WD22TB4 from 01.01.00.07 to 01.01.00.10, USB4 to 41.81) as well as the system firmware from 1.14.1 to 1.19.1.
Upgrade Ubuntu 24.04 to 24.10 20241031 The upgrade completed just fine. I need to use kernel 6.9 though, since 6.11 and 6.10 result in a frozen login screen. (Fixed after some kernel upgrades.)
Upgrade Ubuntu 23.10 to 24.04 20240525 The upgrade completed just fine. Tried Wayland X2Go not supported so revert to Xorg.

Upgrade Ubuntu 23.04 to 23.10 20231022 All went smoothly. Zoom install using snap is required for Ubuntu 23.10:
Unfortunately the server is now suffering a Gnome Shell crash when displaying video full screen from totem or from youtube. Removing the Media Controls Gnome Shell extension fixed this.
