87.2 Setup DVB-T
The dvb-apps, dvb-apps, dvb-apps package provides command line tools to access the functionality of a DVB-T device (as well as other DVB devices). Install the dvb-apps, dvb-apps, dvb-apps package:
We can scan for our local television stations, following the
instructions in
http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Testing_your_DVB_device. The
folder /usr/share/dvb/dvb-t
is provided by dvb-apps, dvb-apps, dvb-apps
and contains some known stations.
You should then see something like:

The channels.conf
can also be used by gxine by
copying it into /home/kayon/.xine
. Then startup
gxine and choose DVB from the File option.
