12.6 Inline Code
20210504
An annoyance in using inline code is that the
inline code may split across a line with the initial back tick and r
ending one line and the code to run starting the next line. Because
there is no space after the back tick r
, it is not recognised a an
inline code block, just a verbatim. Any space added to the end of a
line in many editors is automatically removed! A solution to this
introduced in KnitR version
1.15 is to replace
the space with #
.
